What can it do for you?
Get help to write a resume, look for work, prepare for interviews and build your skills. Workforce Australia providers may cover costs for things like work clothes and uniforms, travel costs, driver’s licence, training and other items you need to help you get a job.
Under 25?
Providers can enrol you in Employability Skills Training to help you get the skills employers want. They can help you find a PaTH internship so you can earn a little extra money each week while you show an employer what you can do.
TtW is for young people aged 15 to 24 who need to build skills and confidence to get a job.
A TtW provider can help you if you:
- haven’t had a job in the last six months
- don’t have a Year 12 certificate or a Certificate III
What can it do for you?
Get support while you’re getting ready to work and after you get a job. You can do training, get qualifications, learn what employers expect and do some work experience. Transition to Work providers work closely with employers to make sure you land in a job that’s right for you.
HLS is for people who want to pick fruit and veggies on farms around Australia.
What can it do for you?
Hitting the harvest trail is a great way to earn money while you travel. HLS providers connect you with farmers and producers across Australia. They can also tell you if you’re eligible to earn an extra $5,000 a year without affecting your income support payment.
NEIS is for job seekers aged 18 or older who want to start their own business.
What can it do for you?
Get professional help to turn your business idea into a reality. NEIS providers give you access to accredited training and business mentoring. If eligible, you could also get NEIS Allowance and NEIS Rental Assistance while you build your business.
Career Transition Assistance (CTA) is for people aged 45 and older who want to gain a competitive edge in the job market.
What can it do for you?
Create a personal plan to take your skills and experience and use them to your advantage when applying for jobs. Boost your digital skills while you get to know the local job market and meet employers in your area.
EST is for job seekers aged 15 to 24 registered with a Workforce Australia provider.
Get the skills employers want. Through two blocks of training you’ll learn skills like:
- communication
- teamwork
- time management
- problem solving
You’ll boost your technology skills and get advanced job hunting and interview tips, too.
