Advocacy WA Roadtrip (Various Locations)

The NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission has engaged Advocacy WA to deliver a series of training workshops across the South West. These sessions aim to support providers, workers, and people with disability to better understand and meet the expectations of the NDIS Practice Standards, and to promote rights-based, safe, and high-quality support.
These sessions are designed to empower people with disability, their families, support workers, and service providers with practical tools, knowledge, and confidence.
We’re running three types of workshops in each location:
🧠 SelfAdvocacy Workshop
For people with disability (and allies!) who want to build confidence, speak up, and solve problems in everyday life.
🛡️ Your Rights, Your Supports, Your Service – Participant Workshop
Learn what good support looks like, how to recognise when something’s not right, and how to take action. Open to people with disability, family, and support workers.
🤝 Your Rights, Your Supports, Your Service – Provider Workshop
Designed for NDIS providers and frontline workers. Build confidence in delivering person-centered, rights-based services that uphold dignity and safety.
