What the day will cover:

10:00am -Disability Support Pension

A practical information session focused on the Disability Support Pension, including eligibility, evidence requirements, and common barriers people experience when dealing with Centrelink.

11:30am -Your Rights, Your Supports, Your Service

This session focuses on the rights of people living with disability, how the NDIS works, and what good quality support and respectful service should look like in practice.

1:00pm -Self Advocacy

The final session of the day focuses on building confidence to speak up, raise concerns, and advocate for yourself in everyday situations and service settings.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided, with time to stay and chat about D Connect, our community mentor program, and what is happening in your local community.

You are welcome to attend the full day or join for the sessions most relevant to you. All sessions are free to attend and open to people living with disability, family members, supporters, and community members.
