SECCA presents Boundary Setting and Protective Behaviours

Protective behaviours are important life skills for all people to know. With the right approaches and evidence-based knowledge these skills can be taught simply and effectively.

This online workshop introduces the two fundamental messages of Protective Behaviours Education. You will learn useful tools, ideas, and resources to support people with disability to learn protective behaviours.

This online workshop will cover the following topics:

  • Core messages of protective behaviours education
  • Early warning signs
  • The safety continuum
  • Public and Private
  • Different types of relationships
  • Recognising grooming behaviour
  • Online safety
