Youth Mental Health First Aid (Busselton)

Lifeline logo

Lifeline together with Rio Tinto present ‘Youth Mental Health and Suicide Prevention’ training.

Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches adults how to recognise when a young person (aged 12–18) may be experiencing a mental health problem or crisis and how to provide initial support until professional help can be accessed.

Participants will learn how to identify emerging mental health concerns, have supportive conversations, and connect young people with appropriate services. Those who complete the course and assessment can become an Accredited Mental Health First Aider (MHFAider).
