Part 5 Autistic, ADHD and AuDHD Women: Perimenopause, Menopause and Ageing

Hormonal shifts affect everyone differently, but for autistic, ADHD, and AuDHD women, perimenopause and menopause can bring changes that are rarely talked about, let alone properly understood. Sensory sensitivities intensifying. Executive function becoming harder to rely on. Emotional regulation feeling shakier than it has in years. And this life stage doesn’t stand alone, it’s part of a broader journey into ageing that brings its own questions about health, independence, and identity.
