The Foundations of Self-Determination and Self-Advocacy – Part 1 (Online)

Neurodiversity Hub and Barb Cook present a 4-part online series about Self Advocacy.

Part 1 The Foundations of Self-Determination and Self-Advocacy: Knowing Yourself & Speaking Up

So much of what’s written about self-advocacy jumps straight to the scripts and the phrases, how to ask, what to say, how to speak up with confidence. But it skips over something much bigger. Before anyone can advocate for themselves, they need to know their own needs, strengths, and challenges in the first place. That’s self-determination, and it’s the real starting point.

  • Just $35, flat pricing, no early bird, no bundles required
  • 1 hour, so it fits into a real evening without taking over the whole night
  • Followed by 60 days of recording access, so if life gets in the way on the night, nothing is missed
  • Eligible for a certificate of attendance with 1 hour of Continuing Professional Development for anyone joining live or after watching the recording
  • Potentially claimable for Self and Plan Managed NDIS participants (check with your plan manager or LAC)
