Building the skills, knowledge and confidence of people living with disability and their siblings.

Life Changes is a skills building program that seeks to empower people with disability and their adult siblings to navigate the ups and downs of life together.

This 4-part webinar series will explore:

  • A strength-based approach to support – Explore how to develop a Circle of Support with and for your sibling using Supported Decision Making, The Five Valued Experiences and other strategies.
  • Taking stock and planning for the future – An overview of person centred tools for reflecting, visioning and moving forward in your own life and with your sibling.
  • Managing challenges and taking care of yourself – Learn about key strategies and responses to family conflict, including interpersonal effectiveness skills and establishing boundaries.
  • Keeping it in perspective – How to find balance using strategies for prioritising tasks and responsibilities, maintaining self-care, and safeguarding resilience.

To ensure a positive and engaging experience for all participants, the minimum age for attendees is 16 years.
