It works collaboratively with partners and its member organisations, the network of state and territory Carers Associations, to deliver a range of essential national carer services.

Carers WA
Carers WA aims to enhance and promote carers health and well-being by focusing on their emotional and social support needs. Our services include the provision of specialist information and advice, resources, carer support through counselling, education/training, social support and carer advocacy and representation.

Young Carers WA
A young carer is someone aged up to 25 years old who provides unpaid care and support to family members and friends who have disability, mental illness, chronic condition, terminal illness, an alcohol or other drug issue, or who are frail aged. Young Carers WA provides a range of free events and school holiday activities, including camps for ages 8 -17. Young Carers WA ‘CLOUD’ Program offers a unique service within schools to raise awareness and support young carer students, parents and educators.

Caring Clothing

Provide Adaptive Clothing for people with disabilities who experience dressing difficulties. Adaptive Clothing is designed to make dressing easier for people with loss of or limited movement. Includes reusable and washable continence wear, compression clothing for children and adults with autism and adaptive clothing for all ages.

Through lived experience, we have a special interest in working with neurodivergent individuals, particularly children and young adults. We have deep knowledge and empathy in this area, and we work closely with parents or caregivers to employ approaches that will help develop skills and support participation in a wide range of environments.

We also work with adults in this area to improve or refine skills to live an independent life, from organisational skills, social skills/participation, motor skills or sensory processing.

Child and Adolescent Therapy Service (CaATS)

CaATS is a service provided by AccordWest, offering counselling for children, adolescents and families. This service is free with a Mental Health plan from your GP. The therapists use a great deal of non-verbal techniques for disability clients who do not do well with talk therapy alone.

Child Matters & Teen Matters

Child Matters and Teen Matters provide autism early intervention and therapy for children aged 0-18 years. The therapies provided include: Clinical Psychology, Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling and Social Work.
