Autistics Guide to Adulthood

This free resource has been co-developed by the Autistic community and supported by an all-Autistic National Advisory Group.

The Autistics’ Guide to Adulthood consists of ten comprehensive modules, each containing videos, infographics, and activities that enable users to customise their learning experience. The resource is accessible, free, and can be accessed at any time and place that suits the user.

Funded by the Department of Social Services through an Information, Linkages, and Capacity Building grant, this national resource has been designed to cater to the unique needs of the Autistic community.

The Project Team and the National Advisory Group believe that this guide will be a valuable tool for individuals in achieving personal goals.

Community Access Squad

From starting the Community Access Squad in 2015 our team has worked hard to bring together like minded peers (aged 13+) with varying abilities to be able to experience all that our society has to offer. We aim to engage every individual in a focused and meaningful way through community based inclusive outings.

The Community Access Squad embraces diversity and inclusion and we thrive on supporting friendships, developing life skills, and improving personal well-being and mindfulness. Through our pre-planned flexible programming we strive to create events that assist our members who require a little extra help to develop the necessary skills and abilities to access our community to the fullest. We implement choice, control and flexibility by supporting you while you take charge of your life and engage with your community.

Health Loop Exercise Physiology (temporarily closed – maternity leave)

I’m an accredited Exercise Physiologist, with over 10 years of clinical experience. I’ve seen the benefits exercise can provide for those with Autism through increasing social interaction, self-esteem, and confidence.
My services are completely mobile so I can be flexible in going to participants homes or meeting them out in the community. I can currently see participants from Bunbury down to Augusta and have immediate capacity for new referrals.
If you would like to know more about our services or have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.
